Commentary


Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de six coins de droit et de six coins de revers. Les coins sont toujours couplés, droit et revers comme sur notre exemplaire, des deux côtés. Pour ce type bien particulier, les coins sont numérotés entre XXVI (26) et XXXII (32). Une mouche se trouve à l’exergue du revers et fait partie intégrante du couplage. Ce type est infiniment plus rare que ne le laissent paraître les ouvrages généraux. C’est la première fois que nous le proposons à la vente.
