Obverse translation : “Aurelius Caesar Augusti Pii Filius”, (Aurèle César Auguste fils d'Antonin le Pieux).

Reverse description : Minerve casquée et drapée, assise à droite, tenant une haste de la main droite et son bouclier de la main gauche appuyé contre sa jambe.

Très beau buste de Marc Aurèle César dans la force de l’âge. Avec ce type de buste drapé et cuirassé, ce type n’est pas signalé dans les principaux ouvrages de référence.
