Comme la pièce de 2 Euro “Cinquantenaire du Traité de Rome” 2007 chaque pays de la zone Euro, y compris les derniers entrants Chypre, Malte et Slovaquie, participe à cette opération. Soit un total de 20 pièces de 2 Euro “10 ans de l’Euro” (les 5 ateliers allemands inclus) à collectionner. Seul le nom du pays diffère sur chaque avers.
Le dessin de l’avers est issu d’un concours international remporté par la Grèce. Il représente le dessin primitif d’un homme dont le bras se prolonge avec le sigle €, symbole des échanges commerciaux ancestraux au coeur de l’Union Européenne.
Circulating commemorative 2 Euro coin issued to mark the 10th anniversary of the Economic and Monetary Union. Like the 2 Euro coin “Fiftieth Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome” 2007, each country in the Eurozone, including the most recent entrants Cyprus, Malta and Slovakia, is participating in this operation. This makes a total of 20 2 Euro coins “10 Years of the Euro” (including the 5 German mints) to collect. Only the name of the country differs on each obverse. The obverse design is the result of an international competition won by Greece. It represents the primitive drawing of a man whose arm extends with the symbol €, a symbol of ancestral trade at the heart of the European Union.
