MALAYSIA - British North Borneo

(20/06/1837-22/01/1901)

Queen Victoria (1819-1901) is the daughter of Edward, Duke of Kent and Victoria of Saxe Cobourg. She succeeded her uncle William IV in 1837. The North Borneo is a possession of the English crown from 1877-1878, assigned to the British North Borneo Company in 1882. In 1888, he became a British protectorate. In 1941, the Japanese invaded this territory becomes British colony from 1946 to 1963 when this area incorporates the Federation of Malaya.
