Ce denier est frappé sur un flan assez large et régulier laissant apparaître une bonne partie des grènetis extérieurs. Une patine foncée recouvre les deux faces. La croix du revers apparaît légèrement au droit

Charles I of Anjou (1226-1285) is the last son of Louis VIII and Blanche de Castille. He married Béatrice in 1246, the daughter of Raymond V of Provence. He is count of Anjou, Maine and Provence (1246-1285), king of Sicily and Naples (1265-1285) and titular king of Jerusalem (1277-1285).
