L’attribution à Lete en Macédoine est possible, mais pas certaine. J.-N. Svoronos attribuait ces monnaies aux Sirinopéoniens.

MACEDONIA - LETE

(6th - 5th century BC).

Lete was in the territory of the Amphaxitis above Therma (Thessalonica), but the city was unimportant in ancient times and it is doubtful that it could have minted. However the city was placed on the strategic road which linked Pangea to the mines of the hinterland..
