Exemplaire sur un joli flan, légèrement décentré au droit sur la chevelure de Zeus. Revers de très joli style, recouvert d’une fine patine avec des reflets dorés

Commentary
Une marque de démonétisation (coup de burin) sur le poitrail du cheval qui semblerait montrer que ce tétradrachme ait pu être exporté à l’extérieur de la Macédoine, dans les Balkans, région où cette pratique était courante.

Coinage in the name and Philipp II type
Philip, son of Philip II and the half-brother of Alexander, was not entirely in his right mind. On the death of the conqueror and faced with the lack of power, in order to maintain the fiction of the unity of the Empire, he was proclaimed king, but in fact he had no power. He was assassinated at the instigation of Olympias, Alexander's mother, in 316 BC.
