MACEDONIA - MACEDONIAN KINGDOM - PERDICCAS III

(365-359 BC)

Perdiccas III is the son of Amyntas III (389-383 and 381-369 BC) and the brother of Alexander II and Philip III. After the assassination of Alexander II, Ptolemy served as regent for the two surviving brothers. Philip finally got rid of Ptolemy II in 365 BC. Perdiccas III finally reigned only six years before being replaced by Philip II who would change the destiny of the small kingdom.
