Très bel exemplaire sur un flan large, centré des deux côtés. Superbe scène au droit, présentant un léger tréflage. Frappe plus faible au revers. Patine grise

Acanthe, founded in the 7th century BC, was a colony of Andros, an island in the Aegean Sea located on the peninsula of Acté. The workshop had a very important production from the end of the 6th century BC thanks to the mines which were in this region.
