Ce denier est frappé sur un flan assez large et légèrement irrégulier. Exemplaire recouvert d’une patine grise. La croix du droit apparaît en négatif au revers. De petites faiblesses de frappe au niveau des légendes

LYONNAIS - LYON - CONRAD THE PACIFIC
(937-993)
Conrad (937-993) became King of Burgundy in 937, succeeding his father Rudolf II. He married in 964 Mathilde (934 - c. 980), the daughter of Louis IV d'Outremer and the sister of Lothair, who brought him Lyon as a dowry. Conrad unites the kingdom of Arles with that of Burgundy, forming the great kingdom of Provence.
