Reverse description : Écusson ovale aux armes de la Ville, placé sur un cartouche, soutenu par les figures allégoriques debout du Rhône et de la Saône laissant échapper l’eau de leurs urnes, le tout sur une console enguirlandée.

Attribution selon Tricou, Jetons armoriés, Lyon, 1947, p. 124, n° 82 et pl.IV mais donné parfois à son fils, Louis-François-Anne de Retz (Florange ou Corre). La famille de Neufville de Villeroy d’Alincourt porte d’azur au chevron d’or accompagné de trois croisettes ancrées du même. Louis-Nicolas est le fils aîné de François et de Marguerite de Cossé-Brissac. Lieutenant général pour le roi dans les provinces de Lyonnais, Forez et Beaujolais, il devient duc de Villeroy et pair de France puis lieutenant général des Armées du roi, chevalier de Saint-Louis. Il est gouverneur de Lyon par survivance dès 1712 puis en titre de 1730 à sa mort en 1734. Marié à Marguerite Le Tellier, il meurt à Paris le 22 avril 1734.
