Minime défaut de flan à sept heures au droit sur le listel et infimes traces de frottement au droit sinon un exemplaire superbe, bien centré et très bien frappé, recouvert d’une agréable patine aux reflets bleutés au droit

Commentary

Les armes d’Antoine Malvin de Montazet portent écartelé d’azur, à trois étoiles (Malvin) et d’or à deux balances posées l’une sur l’autre (Montazet). Antoine Malvin de Montazet est né en 1712 dans l'Agenois. Évêque d'Autun en 1748 puis archevêque de Lyon en 1758, il est admis à l'Académie française le 19 août 1756 au siège du cardinal Armand de Rohan-Soubise. Il n'a laissé que des lettres pastorales et des mandements. Il est décédé le 3 mai 1788.

Antoine Malvin de Montazet was born in 1712 in Agenois. Bishop of Autun in 1748 then Archbishop of Lyon in 1758, he was admitted to the French Academy on August 19, 1756 at the seat of Cardinal Armand de Rohan-Soubise. He left only pastoral letters and mandates. He died on May 3, 1788
