Obverse description : Écu ovale aux armes de Mathurin Laisné posé sur un cartouche ornementé avec mascaron, timbré d’un casque taré de face, orné de lambrequins et ayant pour cimier trois plumes.

Reverse description : La Monnaie de Lyon représentée par une femme tenant une balance et une corne d’abondance, d’où s’échappent des monnaies.
Commentary
Les armes de Mathurin Laisné portent d’azur, à la croix d’or alésée, accompagnée de trois étoiles de même. Mathurin Laisné, né à Paris en 1664 était écuyer, conseiller du roi, directeur et trésorier de la Monnaie de Lyon. Il mourut en 1723 et fut enterré dans l’église de St Antoine à Lyon.
