LUXEMBOURG - DUCHY OF LUXEMBOURG - WENCESLAS

(1383-1388)

Wenceslas (1361-1419) is the son of Charles I (IV as Emperor of Germany) and Anne, daughter of Henry II, Duke of Schweidnitz and Furstenberg who died in 1362. He was King of Bohemia (1378-1419 ), King of the Romans (1376-1400) and ruled Luxembourg twice, between 1383 and 1388 and in 1411-1412. He married in 1370 Jeanne de Hainaut (1356-1386), daughter of Albert of Bavaria, Count of Hainaut and Holland and in 1389, Sophie of Bavaria (1376-1425).
