LUXEMBOURG - Duchy of Luxembourg - ANTOINE DE BURGUNDY, Engagiste

(1412-1415)

Antoine (1384-1415) was the brother of John the Fearless. He was Duke of Brabant (1406-1414). He married in 1409 Elizabeth (1390-1451), the daughter of Sigismund of Hungary (1368-1437). Luxembourg fell to him after the ouster of Wenceslas IV of Bohemia in 1412. He was killed at the Battle of Agincourt.
