Exemplaire sur un flan très large et irrégulier bien centré des deux côtés. Beau taureau bien venu à la frappe. Revers incus très bien venu à la frappe. Patine grise superficielle avec des reflets dorés

LUCANIA - SYBARIS

(530-510 BC)

Sybaris, an Achaean colony was founded around 720 BC. The luxury of the sybarites was proverbial. It was the most powerful city in Magna Graecia. It was destroyed by the Crotoniates in 510 BC. The survivors found refuge in Poseidonia or Laüs which they founded.
