D’après nos recherches en archives 17.870 cinquièmes d’écu ont été mis en circulation suite à une unique délivrance du 23 juin 1759. Le poids monnayé a été de 428 marcs 2 onces 21 deniers et 100 cinquièmes d’écu ont été mis en boîte. Monnaie qui était signalée à partir des archives dans l’ouvrage Monnaies royales françaises et de la Révolution (1610-1794), n° 34133, mais qui n’était pas encore retrouvée.
According to our archival research, 17,870 fifths of an écu were put into circulation following a single issue on June 23, 1759. The minted weight was 428 marcs 2 ounces 21 deniers and 100 fifths of an écu were boxed. This coin was reported from the archives in the work Monnaies royales françaises et de la Révolution (1610-1794), n° 34133, but which had not yet been found.
