Cette médaille a été frappée en or, en argent et en bronze, sous la direction de Marie-Anne de Saint Urbain (1711-1789), à l'hôtel royal des Monnaies de Nancy, pour l'inauguration de la statue élevée en l'honneur de Louis XV sur la place Royale de Nancy, en 1755.
Stanislas Leszczynski ou Leczinski, dit « Stanislas le Bienfaisant » (1677-1766), est un aristocrate polonais, roi de Pologne de 1704 à 1709 sous le nom de Stanislas Ier (Stanisław I) et grand-duc de Lituanie dans le cadre de la république des Deux Nations, beau-père de Louis XV (1725), duc de Lorraine et de Bar de 1737 à sa mort..
This medal was struck in gold, silver and bronze, under the direction of Marie-Anne de Saint Urbain (1711-1789), at the Royal Mint of Nancy, for the inauguration of the statue erected in honor of Louis XV on the Place Royale in Nancy, in 1755. Stanislas Leszczynski or Leczinski, known as \\\"Stanislas the Beneficent\\\" (1677-1766), was a Polish aristocrat, King of Poland from 1704 to 1709 under the name of Stanislas I (Stanisław I) and Grand Duke of Lithuania within the framework of the Republic of the Two Nations, father-in-law of Louis XV (1725), Duke of Lorraine and Bar from 1737 until his death.
