Ce quart d’écu est frappé sur un flan large et légèrement irrégulier. Le droit porte des stries d’ajustage sur les deux faces. Patine grise. Quelques hairlines

D’après nos recherches en archives 84.695 quarts d’écu ont été mis en circulation suite à huit délivrances du 6 février au 19 octobre 1715. Pour cette production, 41 quarts d’écu ont été mis en boîte. Monnaie signalée d’après les archives dans l’ouvrage Monnaies royales françaises et de la Révolution (1610-1794), mais qui n’était pas retrouvée.
According to our archival research, 84,695 quarter-écus were put into circulation following eight issues between February 6 and October 19, 1715. Of this production, 41 quarter-écus were boxed. This coinage was mentioned in the archives in the work *Monnaies royales françaises et de la Révolution (1610-1794)*, but could not be located.
