Ce quart d’écu est frappé sur un flan assez large et irrégulier. Le revers porte deux traces de soudure à 3 et 9 heures. Patine grise. Des aspérités de surface

D’après nos recherches en archives, seulement 13108 quarts d’écu ont été mis en circulation suite à une unique délivrance du 23 juillet 1714 pour un poids de 409 mars 3 onces 12 deniers. Pour cette production un seul quart d’écu a été mis en boîte.
