D’après nos recherches inédites aux Archives nationales, 456.371 louis ont été frappés en 1709 à Paris, pour un poids de 15.195 marcs 6 onces 4 deniers 12 grains. Pour cette production, 1.123 ont été mis en boîte. Ces monnaies furent mises en circulation suite à 31 délivrances, entre le 18 mai et le 31 décembre 1709.
According to our unpublished research at the National Archives, 456,371 louis coins were minted in 1709 in Paris, weighing 15,195 marcs 6 ounces 4 deniers 12 grains. Of this production, 1,123 were boxed. These coins were put into circulation following 31 issues, between May 18 and December 31, 1709.
