Commentary
The zero in the year is not very clear, as this gold écu is struck on a short flan. The Limoges mint struck gold écus in 1630 (363 pieces), 1631 (363 pieces), and 1632 (254 pieces). For the year 1630, these gold écus were put into circulation following a single issue on December 24, 1630.
