Médaille nettoyée, présentant plusieurs coups et rayures, notamment sur la tranche. Usure régulière

Commentary
La médaille a été remise au Comte Dubois. Il pourrait s’agir de Louis Nicolas Dubois (1758-1847) qui fut le premier préfet de police de Paris. Avocat au Parlement de Paris, puis procureur au Châtelet, il deviendra commissaire du directoire et préfet de police à partir de 1800. Il sera nommé conseiller d’état par Bonaparte puis suite à une disgrâce, renvoyé en 1810 et réintégré en 1811. 
Il aurait quitté la vie politique sous la Seconde Restauration ce qui laisse penser qu’il ne s’agit pas réellement de lui mais dans ce cas, nous n’avons pas trouvé le personnage correspondant à cette attribution.

Lawyer at the Parliament of Paris, then prosecutor at the Châtelet, he became commissioner of the Directory and prefect of police from 1800. He was appointed State Councilor by Bonaparte then following a disgrace, dismissed in 1810 and reinstated in 1811. He would have left political life under the Second Restoration which suggests that it is not really him but in this case, we have not found the person corresponding to this attribution
