Coments on the condition:
Ce tiers de plaque est frappé sur un flan légèrement irrégulier. La croix du revers apparaît en négatif au droit. De petites taches brunes d’oxyde de cuivre au revers et d’infimes faiblesses de frappe au niveau des légendes

DUCHY OF LORRAINE - YOLANDA OF FLANDERS

(1344-1360)

Henri IV, on his death left two minor children, Édouard and Robert. His widow Yolande served as regent twice, first for Edward II, from 1344 to 1349 (+) then under her second son Robert (1349-1352). She struck imitations of French royal coins but of a lesser title, so much so that she was excommunicated in 1359 or 1360. She struck coins in the workshops of Saint-Mihiel and Clermont-en-Argonne.
