Obverse description : Tête à gauche, avec le sourcil épais et la chevelure ramenée en arrière en petites mèches.

Reverse description : Croix bouletée au centre, divisée en quatre cantons : lunule au-dessus de chaque canton ; deux points superposés au 1er canton ; globule aux 2e, 3e et 4e cantons.

Mêmes coins que l’exemplaire décrit n° 279 de l’ouvrage de G. Savès (provenant de sa collection), (pl. XVI). Le revers de ce type n’est pas sans analogie avec les imitations des drachmes de Rhodè.

This people who occupied most of the departments of Aude and Hérault is mentioned neither by Ptolemy, nor by Strabo, nor by Caesar. Their coinage is known to us only by the treasures of Béziers (Hérault) discovered in 1871 and which contained between 750 and 800 coins of Languedoc style as well as that of Moussan in the Aude, discovered in 1967 and which contained 28 drachmas of style " Languedocian".
