Droit lisse frappé avec un coin très usé, mais très beau revers. Patine un peu hétérogène au droit comme au revers

Obverse description : Restes de tête à gauche, très fruste.

Reverse description : Croix bouletée au centre, formée de quatre cantons, chacun ornés d’une lunule ; un annelet pointé au 3e canton.
Commentary
Bien que le droit soit très fruste, cette monnaie est très intéressante avec un revers inhabituel ; l’oreille du 3e canton laisse la place à un annelet pointé, encore plus net que sur la monnaie S. 327.

This people who occupied most of the departments of Aude and Hérault is mentioned neither by Ptolemy, nor by Strabo, nor by Caesar. Their coinage is known to us only by the treasures of Béziers (Hérault) discovered in 1871 and which contained between 750 and 800 coins of Languedoc style as well as that of Moussan in the Aude, discovered in 1967 and which contained 28 drachmas of style " Languedocian".
