La monnaie S. 308, le seul exemplaire connu de ce type lors de la parution de l'ouvrage de G. Savès, provient du trésor de Béziers. L'angle renfermant des globules au troisième canton semble être une dégénérescence de la hache. Les trois exemplaires de la collection Savès ont respectivement trois globules (comme le S. 308), un seul ou aucun.
Le revers est particulièrement net et il n'y a qu'un seul globule dans l'angle du troisième canton. Au droit, on devine une tête, avec des globules posés sur la joue (?).
Coin S. 308, the only known example of this type at the time of the publication of G. Savès's work, comes from the Béziers treasure. The angle containing globules in the third canton seems to be a degeneration of the axe. The three examples in the Savès collection have respectively three globules (like S. 308), one or none. The reverse is particularly clear and there is only one globule in the angle of the third canton. On the obverse, we can make out a head, with globules placed on the cheek (?)
