Type monétaire particulière rare absent de nombreuses collections. Des monnaies de Loches avec le nom de Beaulieu-lès-Loches et celui de Tours étaient présents dans une bourse de 119 monnaies découverte à Saint-Mexme de Chinon étudiée et publiée par Françoise Dumas en 2006 par le Comité des Travaux Historiques et Scientifiques. Ce type monétaire présente deux fois le nom de Loches et est absent du Poey d’Avant. Un exemplaire a toutefois été publié pour la première fois en 1867 par Gariel dans l’Annuaire de la Société Française de Numismatique(pl. X, n° 27). Elle fut reprise en 1882 dans l’ouvrage d’Émile Caron, n° 105, p. 68-69.
A rare, particular type of coin, absent from many collections. Coins from Loches with the names Beaulieu-lès-Loches and Tours were present in a purse of 119 coins discovered in Saint-Mexme de Chinon, studied and published by Françoise Dumas in 2006 by the Committee of Historical and Scientific Works. This coin type has the name Loches twice and is absent from the Poey d'Avant. However, a example was first published in 1867 by Gariel in the Annuaire de la Société Française de Numismatique (pl. X, no. 27). It was included in 1882 in the work of Émile Caron, no. 105, pp. 68-69.
