LIMOUSIN - VISCOUNTCY OF LIMOGES - ARTHUR OF BRITTANY

(1275-1303)

In 1275, Arthur marries Marie de Limoges, becoming by his marriage Viscount of Limoges. From this first marriage he had three children, two of whom survived him, the future Duke of Brittany Jean III le Bon and Guy, father of Jeanne de Penthièvre, who married Charles de Blois in 1337. In his second marriage, he married Yolande de Dreux whose he will have a son, the future Duke of Brittany Jean IV.
