(04/05/1557-11/04/1564)

After the death of George of Austria on May 4, 1557, Robert de Berghes, who had been appointed coadjutor on August 25, 1550, took over. On April 3, 1559, with the Peace of Cateau-Cambrésis, Bouillon, which had been taken on June 28, 1553 by French troops, was returned to the Principality of Liège. Gérard de Groesbeek is appointed coadjutor and he succeeds Robert de Berghes who leaves him the bishopric on April 11, 1564.
