Ce demi-sprenger est frappé sur un flan régulier. On doit noter une légère patine grise sur les deux faces de cet exemplaire ainsi que de petites concrétions superficielles. Les reliefs sont plus nets au revers qu’au droit

His episcopate was marked by the passage of many troops due to the civil war which was raging in the Netherlands. He was raised to the rank of cardinal in 1578 and died in 1581..
