Commentary


Le Liechtenstein jusqu'en 1923 utilisait le système monétaire autrichien avec la couronne divisée en 100 hellers. En 1924, la principauté adopta le système monétaire suisse.
Until 1923, Liechtenstein used the Austrian monetary system with the crown divided into 100 hellers. In 1924, the principality adopted the Swiss monetary system.

(1858-1929)

Jean II (1840-1929) succeeded his father Alois II in 1858. He reigned for 71 years, the longest reign of the entire principality. He had no children. His brother François I (1853-1938) succeeded him in 1929.
