Commentary


Largeur de la médaille : 30,5 mm
Ruban rayé bleu blanc et rouge brodé du cèdre du Liban.
Cette médaille fut remise au gouverneur des Colonies, Monsieur Privat-Antoine Aubouard. MIlitaire de formation, né à Moulins dans l’Allier en 1874, il fut le premier français et catholique romain à être président du Liban sous mandat en 1934.
Medal width: 30.5 mm Blue, white, and red striped ribbon embroidered with the cedar of Lebanon. This medal was presented to the Governor of the Colonies, Mr. Privat-Antoine Aubouard. A military man by training, born in Moulins in the Allier in 1874, he was the first Frenchman and Roman Catholic to be President of Lebanon under mandate in 1934.
