Exemplaire issu du médaililer Franklin qui met à l’honneur le tableau de La mort de Marat par Jacques-Louis David : Il répresente Jean-Paul Marat assassiné dans son bain le 13 juillet 1793 par Charlotte Corday. Il s’agit d’un hommage, le peintre connaissant très bien Marat. Ce tableau est consersé aux musées royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique à Bruxelles.

Théoriquement, le poinçon crabe est censé indiquer un titrage à 800 millièmes.
