KINGDOM OF SERBIA - MILAN III OBRENOVIC

(1839-1842 then 1860-1868)

Miloch Obrénovitch reigns from the abdication of his father, on June 13, 1839. In 1842, Skouptchina elects like prince Alexandre Karageorgévitch which lets govern the oligarchy, the country is modernized. In 1858, Miloch Obrénovitch was recalled and began a second reign marked above all by revenge on his enemies. He died in 1860 and his son Miloch (or Milan) IV succeeded him.
