Obverse description : Justin II et Sophie assis de face sur un double trône, ils sont nimbés tous les deux ; Justin est à droite, tenant le globe crucigère de la main droite et elle, à gauche, tient le sceptre cruciforme de la main droite ; au milieu au-dessus, une croix.
