Commentary
Ce tirage uniface est à mettre en relation avec le jeton-médaille Cour de cassation daté 1835 sur son revers mais dont la tranche présente parfois un poinçon abeille (1860-1880). A noter que la cour de cassation, née sous la Révolution, n’est ainsi nommé qu’en 1804.
This single-sided print is to be compared with the Court of Cassation medal token dated 1835 on its reverse, but whose edge sometimes has a bee hallmark (1860-1880). Note that the Court of Cassation, born during the Revolution, was not so named until 1804.
