Commentary
A la suite de la paix de Lunéville (9 février 1801), l'Autriche céda la Toscane à Louis de Bourbon. Louis devint roi d'Étrurie le 2 août 1801. Il mourut le 27 mai 1803. Son fils Charles-Louis (Louis II) lui succéda sous la régence de sa mère. Dans le Royaume, il y avait deux systèmes monétaires différents, l'un pour Florence (Dena) et l'autre pour Pise (Francescone).
Following the Peace of Lunéville (February 9, 1801), Austria ceded Tuscany to Louis of Bourbon. Louis became King of Etruria on August 2, 1801. He died on May 27, 1803. His son Charles-Louis (Louis II) succeeded him under the regency of his mother. In the Kingdom, there were two different monetary systems, one for Florence (Dena) and the other for Pisa (Francescone).
