ITALY - KINGDOM OF THE TWO SICILIES - FERDINAND II
(8/11/1830-22/05/1859)

He is the half-brother of the Duchess of Berry, Caroline, the mother of Henri V and the nephew of Marie-Amélie, wife of Louis-Philippe I. He succeeded his father in 1830. He was unable to modernize his kingdom and governed as an autocrat. He died in 1859 and his son succeeded him.
