Obverse description : Saint Michel debout en armure, tenant un bouclier et la main gauche, et plantant une lance terminée par une croix dans la gueule d'un dragon ; à gauche un T.

Obverse translation : (Alphonse II, par la grâce de Dieu, roi de Sicile).

Reverse legend : CORONAVIT° E VNXIT° ME° MANVS° D° C°, (PONCTUATION PAR DEUX ANNELETS SUPERPOSÉS).

Reverse description : Alphonse II assis sur un trône, couronné, tenant un sceptre de la main droite, une globe crucigère de la main gauche, à droite un cardinal bénissant le roi, à gauche un évêque lisant les Évangiles (scène de couronnement).
