Exemplaire sur un petit flan mince, bien centré. Jolie représentation du droit, bien venue à la frappe. Frappe molle au revers. Belle patine verte et sable légèrement granuleuse

Magnesia had been founded by the Magnetes, originating from Thessaly. The city, bathing at the foot of the Meander, was famous for its temple of Artemis Leucophyrene, built by Hermogenes around 190 BC and whose remains can still be admired today..
