Flan mince et légèrement voilé, centré. Tête agréable au droit malgré l’usure et joli cheval au revers. Patine marron

Commentary

Cette très rare obole est du même type que les exemplaires S. 517 et 518. L'attribution aux Nitiobroges ou aux Cadurques proposée par G. Savès pourrait sembler hasardeuse à la vue de la rareté des provenances connues. En l'absence (à notre connaissance) de publication sur les trouvailles de ce type d'obole, nous nous limiterons à une attribution au Sud Ouest.
This very rare obol is of the same type as the examples S. 517 and 518. The attribution to the Nitiobroges or the Cadurques proposed by G. Savès could seem risky in view of the rarity of the known provenances. In the absence (to our knowledge) of publication on the finds of this type of obol, we will limit ourselves to an attribution to the South West
