Obverse description : Armes de L. Le Peletier (Ile de France) soutenues par deux licornes : d'azur, à la croix pattée d'argent, chargée en cœur d'un chevron de gueules, et en pointe d'une rose de même, le chevron accosté de deux molettes de sable. À l'exergue, guirlande.

Commentary

Prévôt de 1784 à 1789, Louis Le Peletier avait obtenu en 1764, l'intendance de La Rochelle, et l'année suivante celle de Soissons. En 173, il passe conseiller d'Etat par semestre et en 1787, est nommé trésorier des ordres du Roi.
Provost from 1784 to 1789, Louis Le Peletier had obtained the intendancy of La Rochelle in 1764, and the following year that of Soissons. In 173, he became a state councilor by semester and in 1787, was appointed treasurer of the King's orders
