Pierre Larcher, président à la Chambre des comptes de Paris, acheta en 1719 le chateau d’Arcy, dans la commune de Vindecy en Saône-et-Loire. Quatrième du nom, il était Marquis d'Arcy & Vindecy, Seigneur d'Avrilly en Bourgogne, Conseiller au Châtelet le 23 Mars 1709, Grand Bailli d'épée de Vermandois après la mort de Michel Larcher , Marquis d'Olisy, son grand- oncle, en 1710; Conseiller au Parlement de Paris en 1711; Pré- fident de la Chambre des Comptes en 1715, mort le 17 Juillet 1724, à 37 ans. Il avait épousé, le 12 Juillet 1712, Marie-Anne de Jaucen, fille de Jean- Martial, Seigneur et Baron de Crône et de Noisy-sur-Seine, & de Marguerite de la Live. Il eut pour enfants Michel Larcher, né le 4 mars 1714 ; Pierre Martial, né le 19 Juillet 1716, mort en bas-âge; Marie-Marguerite Larcher, née le 2 Décembre 1721, mariée, en 1740, à François-Armand des Montiers, Seigneur & Baron de Mérinville, la Liviniere et Ferals en Languedoc, Gouverneur de Narbonne et Port de la Nouvelle, Baron des Etats de Languedoc, Maitre de Camp de Cavalerie & Sous-Lieutenant d'une Compagnie de Gendarmerie.
