Adolphe Thiers, né le 26 germinal an V (15 avril 1797) à Marseille et mort le 3 septembre 1877 à Saint-Germain-en-Laye, est un avocat, journaliste, historien et homme d’État français. Il est le président de la République française du 31 août 1871 au 24 mai 1873.
