(1506-1526)
Louis II Jagiellon, son of Vladislas II of the house of Jagiellon and Anne of Foix, he was symbolically crowned King of Hungary on June 4, 1507, and King of Bohemia (Louis I) on March 11, 1509. On the death of his father in 1516, he succeeded him on the two thrones. Too young to govern, he is at the mercy of corrupt tycoons who despoil his authority.
