Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré des deux côtés, fendu à 1heure. Très beau portrait. Représentation du revers de haut relief. Une fine patine grise recouvre l’exemplaire avec des reflets dorés

Obverse description : Buste radié et drapé d'Hérennius à droite, vu de trois quarts en arrière (A21).
Obverse translation : "Quintus Herennius Etruscus Messius Decius Nobilissimus Cæsar”, (Quintus Hérennius Étruscus Messius Dèce très noble césar).

Reverse legend : PIETAS AVGVSTORVM.
Reverse description : Instruments pontificaux : aspersoir, simpulum, vase à sacrifices (capis), patère et lituus.
Reverse translation : "Pietas Augustorum”, (La Piété des augustes).
Commentary
Sur cet exemplaire, la capis (vase) est particulièrement intéressant car on y aperçoit sa décoration sur la partie inférieure.

Hérennius receives the title of Caesar in the course of the year 250 and becomes august at the time of his departure from Rome, in April or May 251, to go and fight the Goths with his father. He will find death there.
