Exemplaire sur un flan régulier, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait d’Hélène. Joli revers de style fin. Belle patine vert foncé. Conserve une partie de son brillant de frappe et une partie de son coupant d’origine

Helena, mother of Constantine and first wife of Constantius Chlorus, received the title of augusta in 324. After the death of Fausta and Crispus, she went to the Holy Land. In Jerusalem, she discovered remains of the true cross and founded many institutions. She died in 328, was sanctified and entered in the calendar.
