Né en 1821, Red Cloud (Nuage Rouge) est un chef de tribu Sioux Oglala. De 1866 à 1868, il s’oppose à l’armée américaine suite à l’ouverture de la piste Bozeman à travers le Montana et le Wyoming. Il meurt en 1906 dans une réserve du Dakota du Sud..
Born in 1821, Red Cloud was a chief of the Oglala Sioux tribe. From 1866 to 1868, he opposed the U.S. Army following the opening of the Bozeman Trail through Montana and Wyoming. He died in 1906 on a reservation in South Dakota.
