Obole frappée sur un flan légèrement irrégulier. Présence de quelques défauts de laminage sur la tranche. Trace de la croix en négatif sur l’avers. Patine grise et hauts reliefs bien venus à la frappe

HAINAUT - COUNTY OF HAINAUT - WILLIAM I
(1304-1337)
Guillaume I is the son of Jean II d'Avesnes, Count of Hainaut and of Philippine, daughter of Count Henri II of Luxembourg. He married in 1305 to Jeanne de Valois, daughter of Charles I of Valois. He died in 1337 and his daughter William II succeeded him.
